Thank you for continuing to pray for and support our pilgrims as they prepare for World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul!

Every purchase helps bring them one step closer to this incredible pilgrimage of faith!

Our Eucharistic Rosary Congress will begin on Thursday, October 8 with the 8:00 AM Mass and continue for 24 hours, concluding with the 8:00 AM Mass on Friday, October 9.

Throughout these 24 hours, we will have the beautiful opportunity to remain in the presence of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament, joining together in prayer and adoration. At the beginning of every hour, the Rosary will be prayed aloud, lifting our intentions to Our Lord through the intercession of His Blessed Mother.

We need the participation of our entire parish family! We are asking everyone to prayerfully consider committing to spend at least one hour with Jesus during this special time of Eucharistic Adoration.

Come during the day. Come after work. Come in the quiet of the evening or even during the night. Jesus will be waiting for you.

Can you give Him just one hour?

Bring your family, invite a friend, and help us ensure that Jesus is never left alone during these 24 hours of prayer.

YOUR FAMILY CAN BECOME A HOLY FAMILY!

All families are invited to join us at St. Bernadette on Sunday, November 1, following the 11:00 AM Mass for a special Apostolate for Family Consecration Family Consecration Workshop!

Family Consecration is a beautiful way for families to intentionally place God at the center of their home. Together, families learn to live their baptismal promises more fully, entrusting themselves to Jesus, through Mary, in union with St. Joseph, and looking to the Holy Family as the model for their own family life.

And because November 1 is All Saints Day, we are beginning the celebration with our saints! Children are encouraged to come to Mass dressed as their favorite saint and participate in a joyful Procession of Saints following Mass.

Afterward, families will gather for a meal and fellowship before beginning our Family Consecration Workshop. Parents will discover practical ways to strengthen their family in the Catholic Faith and learn how to prepare for, make, and live Family Consecration at home. Children will participate in their own special breakout sessions and activities.

Family Consecration isn't simply a prayer we say once—it is a way of life that helps families grow together in holiness and keep Christ at the center of the ordinary moments of family life. 🙏

MARK YOUR CALENDARS — TRUNK OR TREAT IS COMING!

Join us for a fun-filled evening at our annual St. Bernadette Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 30 from 6:00–7:30 PM in the parish parking lot!

WE NEED TRUNKS! We are looking for parishioners and ministries to decorate their trunks and help us pass out candy to all the children. Get creative, have some fun, and help make this a wonderful evening for our parish families! To sign up to bring a trunk, please contact Kelly Whitten in the Parish Office.

CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED! Collection bins for donations of individually wrapped candy will be placed in the church in the coming weeks. Every donation helps us make this event extra special for the children!

Help us share the joy of Christ with children in need through Box of Joy! Boxes will be available for pickup after all Masses beginning this weekend, and this year our St. Bernadette Parish Family has a goal of blessing 350 children!

A Joyous and Historic Celebration at St. Bernadette!

Join us on Sunday, November 15 at the 11:00 AM Mass as we joyfully celebrate the Installation of Father Antony Lopez as Pastor of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, as well as a special Mass of Thanksgiving commemorating 25 years of our St. Bernadette Parish Family!

We are honored to welcome Most Reverend Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez, Bishop of the Diocese of Palm Beach, who will preside over this special Mass.

For 25 years, St. Bernadette has been a place where generations have gathered in faith, celebrated the Sacraments, served one another, and grown together as a parish family. Come give thanks to God for the many blessings of these past 25 years and celebrate this joyful new chapter with Father Lopez as our Pastor.

All are invited to be part of this beautiful day in the life of our parish!

St. Bernadette is on a journey to know, love, and serve Christ in our parish
community. Together we must embrace Christ’s vision for missionary discipleship
so our parish can thrive and be a place for others to grow together in faith.
The very first step in this process involves assessing our greatest strengths and
opportunities, and that is where the Disciple Maker Index (DMI) comes in!

The DMI is an important survey tool that invites you to reflect on your discipleship journey here at St. Bernadette. The Disciple Maker Index is designed to:

* Invite parishioners to reflect on their journey of discipleship.
* Enable parish leadership to make data-driven decisions.
* Help parishioners grow in their faith.

The 10–15-minute survey can be accessed HERE from October 15th - November 24th and will ask you to reflect on your own spiritual growth and enable you to provide your
perspective on our parish’s efforts to help you grow in relationship with Christ. All responses will be confidential, and the parish will only receive information about the community as a whole. We will share the link with you a bit closer to the launch of the survey. Paper surveys will also be available for those who do not have the ability to complete the survey online.

Together we must embrace Christ’s vision for missionary discipleship so our parish can thrive and be a place for others to grow together in faith.

Catholic Tots is Returning!

Catholic Tots returns Friday, September 18 from 10:00–11:00 AM!

Our Pray & Play Ministry is designed for parents and guardians to come together in fellowship with other Catholic families while helping their little ones begin to discover the joy of our Catholic faith.

Catholic Tots is for families with children ages 5 and under and will meet twice a month on Friday mornings.

Each gathering will include fun, faith-filled activities such as:

SOLES FOR SEOUL!
Help Our World Youth Day Pilgrims Reach Their Goal!

It’s time to clean out those closets for a great cause! From September 1 through November 1, St. Bernadette will be hosting Soles for Seoul, a shoe drive fundraiser benefiting our parish pilgrims traveling to World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul, South Korea!

We will be collecting gently worn, used, and new shoes of ALL types—as long as they are clean and in good condition. Our pilgrims have a BIG goal: 2,500 pairs of shoes!

We need the help of our entire parish family to get there! Spread the word and ask your family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and community groups to clean out their closets and donate their shoes. Every pair helps our pilgrims take another step toward Seoul!

Help us turn your unwanted shoes into an opportunity for our young pilgrims to experience the universal Church at World Youth Day. Donate. Share. Spread the word. And help us reach 2,500 pairs!

Every sole helps us get to Seoul!

We, The Church Militant, learn about and ask for the intercession of the great Saints (the Church Triumphant) while praying for the Souls in Purgatory (the Church Suffering).

Participants learn about the lives of the Saints (who are only dead by the world's definition and are certainly alive with Jesus in Heaven.) Their lives of heroic virtue continue to inspire. Through the examples of the Saints, young people are catechized and develop positive role models at a time when they are truly needed.

St. Bernadette Parish is blessed to have 12 pilgrims preparing to travel to World Youth Day in Seoul, South Korea, next August. This incredible pilgrimage will provide our young people and young adults with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to encounter Christ, celebrate their faith with Catholics from around the world, and grow as missionary disciples.

Exciting News for Perpetual Adoration!

Our parish is now using Adoration Pro to help manage our Chapel scheduling. You can now sign up for a
weekly Holy Hour commitment online via your computer, smartphone, or the new tablet kiosk located right
in the Chapel. To help you stay on track, the system will even send you a reminder before your scheduled
time!
Our goal is to maintain Perpetual Adoration from Monday at 9:00 AM through Saturday at 8:00 AM.
To make this possible, we need your help. Canon Law requires at least one adorer to be present at all times
while the Blessed Sacrament is exposed. We are currently looking to fill every time slot—including those
beautiful and spiritually enriching middle-of-the-night hours. Please know that having multiple adorers at
the same time is encouraged! Even if you see a slot is already taken, your presence
builds our community of prayer and is a great way to ensure the Blessed Sacrament is
never left alone.
If you have been waiting for the right time to commit to a Holy Hour, that time is
now! Without full coverage, we'll be forced to reduce the hours Jesus is exposed.
