Marriage Preparation

 

Marriage: the special Sacrament of vocation, or calling, where a man and a woman give of themselves completely to each other, imitating Jesus’ giving of Himself to the Church.

Questions to Ask Before You Are Married at St. Bernadette Parish:

  1. Are you or your fiance registered and active at St. Bernadette for at least six months prior to your first appointment with one of the priests? Only those who live in our parish boundaries (zip code: 34986) will be able to register here. If this does not apply in your case, you will need a letter from the parish you are currently registered in giving permission to be married here.
  2. Are you allowing at least six months before your first meeting with a priest here and your wedding date?
