To provide school supplies for students of an "adopted" school in the St. Lucie School District whose parents cannot afford to purchase them. The ministry conducts its annaul campaign during July for parishioners to purchase required supplies. These supplies are collected and delivered to the adopted school prior to the first day of class. They are distributed by teachers and staff to those students needing supplies.
Responsibilities - To help assemble school supply lists and assist parishioners when they pick and return their supplies to the Church; verify, store, inventory, and pack supplies for delivery to the school.
Helpful Attributes - Friendly and energetic personality, able to work in small groups, interpersonal and communication skills
Time Commitment - Periodic / monthly meetings lasting 1-2 hours.
