Goals and Purpose - To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today; to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community; to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person by helping those individuals to recognize her/his own giftedness; to encourage young people to make a stewardship response to that giftedness. Responsibilities - To create a safe environment and acceptance of all young people so that they feel comfortable sharing their relationship with God and others.

Helpful Attributes - Patience, understanding, cheerfulness, and a sense of humor-willingness to be open to the youth of the parish.

Time Commitment - 2-3 hours per week.

Training Required - Diocesan and parish training provided.

Bible Studies

Goals and Purpose - Study together the "Word of the Lord" to discover the full meaning of the Bible, which can give new insights and nourishment to our Faith experience.

Responsibilities - All members share the responsibility of creating an atmosphere of loving support and trust in the group by respecting the opinions and experience of others, and by affirming and encouraging one another.

Helpful Attributes - Willingness to learn and share.

Time Commitment - 20 minutes per day and one hour meeting per week. Daytime and evening groups available.

Training Required - None

Fingerprinting Required - No

Youth Ministry
